Wuhou Temple is China’s only temple dedicated to both a ruler and his minister, commemorating Zhuge Liang, Chancellor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period, and Liu Bei. Founded in 223 AD, it has a history of 1,800 years. For enthusiasts of Three Kingdoms culture, this is a sacred site. Inside the temple, red walls line the pathways and emerald bamboo surrounds the grounds, making it a fantastic spot for photos.

If you’re interested in the history of the Three Kingdoms, the Wuhou Temple is a must-visit. Liu Bei’s tomb (Hui Ling) is also located here. A photographer’s paradise—the red walls and bamboo shadows form one of Chengdu’s most iconic backdrops for photos.
