🏛️ What It Is

The Terracotta Army is hailed as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and serves as the burial complex accompanying the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. It was discovered by chance in 1974 by farmers digging a well. To date, three pits have been excavated, yielding a total of approximately 8,000 life-sized terracotta warriors and horses. Each terracotta figure features unique facial expressions, hairstyles, and attire.Pit No. 1 houses the largest military formation—more than 6,000 soldiers arranged in battle formation, creating a breathtakingly majestic sight.

✨ Why Visit

This is one of the most awe-inspiring archaeological discoveries in human history. Standing at the railing in front of Pit No. 1 and looking down upon the military formation of more than 6,000 terracotta figures, the sheer grandeur of the scene will give you goosebumps.
