Lingyin Temple is Hangzhou’s most famous millennium-old Buddhist temple, founded in 326 AD—nearly 1,700 years ago. The temple is nestled among the lush forests of Feilai Peak. Inside the Great Hall of the Buddha stands a 24.8-meter-tall wooden statue of Shakyamuni in a seated posture.Note that you’ll need to purchase two tickets: the Feilai Peak Scenic Area ticket (45 yuan) + the Lingyin Temple offering ticket (30 yuan).
