🏛️ Attraction Overview

Tianmen Mountain is famous for Tianmen Cave, the world’s highest natural cave that pierces through a mountain. The “Stairway to Heaven,” consisting of 990 steps, leads straight to the bottom of the cave. The mountain road, with its 99 hairpin turns, is known as the “Road to Heaven.” There is also a glass walkway (60 meters long) built along the cliff’s edge, with a bottomless abyss right beneath your feet.

✨ Why It’s Worth a Visit

Tianmen Cave is the symbol of Zhangjiajie. The mountain road winding up the slope is one of the most exhilarating roads in the world. The glass walkway isn’t for those with a fear of heights—but if you want to challenge yourself, this is the most thrilling spot.
